Fairtime Highlights By Your Ful-0-Pep Reporter Your Foll-O-Pep reporter triT- •lied approximately a.SUO miles during the past week, covering tiie Fair* at Brassels. Bariord. Zar- ich. Beetcn. Caledonia, and Mar- mora. Tat attendance at all the Fairs wai well up over previous years and X3 us-oal, the livestocli chacip- ioat were, as a general rule, raised on Cu^er Fnl-O-Pep Feeds. The only complaint received by your reporter in all the many miles trav- elled last week was that Ful-O-Pep feeds are not in su-fHcient supply. It i* still a little difficult at times to secure all the FuI-O-Pep re- quired. The reason for this is that quality has not been sacrificed tor quantity, and as a result, Fui-O-PeEk feeds are stili the btsr that money can buy .\z Brussels a ^.....r; and dance at the Town Hall climaxed an un- usually successful Fair, at which the cattle entries were e.\tremely heavy â€" more t-han 200 entries in alL The Beeton Fair featured a bi- eycie race for children which drew a great crowd. This was a new •vent this year and added colour to the e-thibition. The Fair Groun^is at Beeton were in fine condition, [t is a toss-up as :o whether the freck- le ccctes: or the baby show pleased the proud parents the most. .\t Zurich, the School Fair was ran in conjunction with the .\.ari- cult-jral Fair, and here Mr. W. S. O'NeiU, well-known cattle man and Fal-O-Fep feeder, won prominence with his entry. The attendance at Bartord was well above normal, and all entries were substantially up over pfeced- ing years. Jumping and saddle classes drew much favourable com- ment. .\ $73.00 priie was awarded for a field crop competition. Caledonia Fair celebrated it s Diamond Jubilee with record crowds â€" wen over 15.000 being in attendance during the three days. This is the only Fair in Haldmiand County. Caledoaia's newiy-fonned 40-piece ccncert band was in atten- dance and heired create a guy and carefree atmosphere which prevail- ed throughout the Fair. .\t Marmora, the attendance was somewhat less than that of Cale- donia, but the holiday spirit was tvery bit as noticeable and invig- oratirig. Fortunately here. too. the weatherman was kind and a thor- oughly successful Fair was held. .\t Marmora, the men who raise the Champions were once again the men who feed Qt!.iker Ful-O-Fer- r\eds.
