The first ,s<M>k8 to determine th« relative econ- omy of applying different fertiliser formulae for renovation of perman- ent pasture. This proiect is now in its eighth year. The second experiment which is of |ni(portance in Eaatern Ontario and Wester Quebec deals with the necessity oif providing good succu- lent grazing for beef cattle through- out the sumnwr. Begun in 1&36, this ejqperiiment aims to find out whether a rotation of crops for pas- ture purposes will provide a greater and more uniform production of herbage than continually grazed blue grass pasture.
