We are deeply indebted to three men of the executive for holding the area" and collecting tablefe from 10 a.m., as space is not reserved for Sunday gatherings. During supper we were feeling for our genial friend, George Phillips, as he served the gathering to tea while he fasted. We learned that he did not need our sympathy as he was just holding out until hife son would return from overseas at midnight. Just a grown-up boy! .A.fter tea we had a few words from our president, Ab. LeGard and then a sing-song led by Dr. Fred Murray, assisted by Joe Field. Ken McKee, treasurer accepted meniber- ship fees of 50 centfe. Old boys and girls were present from Hamilton, Oakville and Flesh- erton, as well as Toronto and sub- urbs. We hope to see at our even- ing in the early fall, those who were unable to attend this time. â€" ^Dell Thusrton, Secretary School Promotion Results Infant Daughter Dies After Only Day's Illness Thi's community was shocked to hear of the sudden passing of Eliza- beth (Betty) Ann Croft, four months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elarl Croft. 4th line.
