The three are the only surviving memlbers of their family and their aggregate age is 259 years, not counting the odd months. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wilson and son, Ben, arrived in Flesherton Thursday lafet, after, spending the past ten years in New Zealand. Bill was pro- duction manager for the Ford Motor Comipany plant, which he erected at Wellington, N.Z. He expects to re- turn to his work in New Zealand In September. Hie left for Toronto on Sxmday morning and will then spend a couple of months at the Ford plant at Windsor. Their many friends here were pleased to ^ee them again after their long absence. Hib grandson, Mr. Ken Kellar, and wife who are redecorating his home at present, will reside with him- Miss Carmel Martin of Toronto was home over the holiday and week end and visited her grandmother, Mrs T. Lever, at Flefeherton. Mr. and Mrs. Jim McMullen of Ceylon and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Cairns of Flesherton visited Sunday with Mrs. Jack Cairns. Shirley Cairns, who Spent a few days in Flesherton, returned home. Mr. McCarthy of Toronto spent the weeik end at the McKee home. Mrs. Chas. TuTner i»s returned after visiting friends in Hamilton- Mr. and Mrs- Harold Badgerow and little son, Charlie, of Feversham visited recently at the Turner home. Mr. and Mrs. Elgie of Toronto spent a few days at the Campbell home in the Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Gillespie of Toronto were visitors over the week end at the Jamieson home. Mr. and Mife. Miss Ruth Stewart of Kitchenet isited over the holiday and week end at her home here. Mrs. Russell Johnson and the new baby have returned home from Mrs. Nuhn's Nursing Home, Flefeherton. Mr. John Morris of the H.E.P.C. visited at the Proctor home i<ecently. Mr. Morris was the supervisor of the crew which worked here during the fall and winter. IMr. Will Sorrell of Guelph visited a few days the firfet of the week at the McMillan, Martin an Tudor homes. Mr. Sorrell, whose home is a.t Southampton, spent five and a half j^ears on active service over- seas. He enlisted with the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment at Picton and saw service in Italy with the 8th Army under Genera! Mont- gomery, and in Sicily, where he was wounded. Lastly he entered the western theatre of war shortly be- fore VE-Day. He is glad to be back in Canada again. While enroute to Guelph from Souttiampton, where he vilsited friends for a few diays, he decided to come and view our pictur- esque little village.
