Dr. and Mrs. Thomlson's daughter, Mrs. Gale, recently returned from a Japanese intemiment camp, was the guest speaker. Needless to say, her dis- course wab greatly enjoyed- At the close of the meeting lunch was serv- ed by the Flesherton ladies. Inistioge Untied Church is plann- ing to have Mr. and Mrs. Wallace, evangelistb, at their church from June 16 to 23rd- An unique dinner was sei-ved at this church Wed., May 23, with Bethel W.A- ladies as guests. About 50 ladies sat down to a typical Chinetee meal. Mrs- (Rev.) Thom- son directed the dinner with our ladies as her assistants. Following the dinner, the Bethel ladies supiplied two Tiumlbers, one a duet by Mrt- John McConnell and Mrs- Stanley Acbeson, the other a reading by Mrs. Milton Gillies. Mrs- Thomson brought a most interesting mesbage of Chin- ese life and illustrated her talk with pictures of a number of years ago through to today. Everybody heart- ily enjoyed' the dinner and program, for which Mrs. Thomson ib to be highly commended' for its success- Our field has been very fortunate in having Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Thomson with Us during the pabt year, and regret losing them at the end of June. Mr- and Mrs. J. D.
