The past two years where spent in operations in North Africa. P. 0. Newell went overseas in 1941 and took part in many operations over enemy terri- tory. A large crowd was present to wel- come P. O. Newell home again. A progrramme of speeches, songs and music was enjoyed, after which there was dancing on a platform erected in the open air. Music was supplied by the No. 9 Orchestra. After a furlough F. 0. NewelJ will report for duty to Toronto and will remain in Canada as an Instructor. The little girl was hit and dragged by a car, breaking' her left leg and severely injuring her wrist, had three stitches in her forehead, six in the crown of hei- head, along with ser- ious body injuries.
