The centenary of Queen Victoria's wedding is a reminder of this. It is reported that in the archives at Wind- sor Castle there is a complete list of these presents, but it by no means tallies with the present state of the Royal collection. Some ot fhe presents have been traced, it is said, to other houses where they are regarded aa heirlooms. But no on now living can explain how they first passed into the possession of the families who own them. n - .â€" f Swim suits for 1940 are going to be a little bit longer.
