Wednesday, December 13, 1939 THE FLESHERTON ADVANCE CRAVENeUBST MINISTER R«v. N. H. Dinnick, pastor of Cal- very Baptist Church, Gravenhurtt, thU we«k has published a large Bible Chart which jrives a bird's eye view of all important prophotic events of the Bible. Printed on twenty pound bond paper the chart shows the com- mencement of the nations, both Jew- ish and Gentile; the commencement of the Church; the Cross; the Second Coming of Christ; the great tribula- tion and the coining battle of Arm- ageddon and burning of the earth by fire and The Great Judgment Day. The Chart was designed by Rev. N. H. Dinnick and executed by Mr. S. Fromow, well known artist of Mus- koka. While the chart has been pre- pared to sell at 25c, it will be sent to ministers, Sunday school teachers and Christian workers free, providin(» a small coin is .sent to cover the cost of wrapping and mailing. During the past few months Mr. Dinnick has been preaching a series of sermons on Prophecy and the chart is the out- come of prophetic studies. â€" Graven- hurst Banner. Mr. Dinnick, who is a son of Rev. and Mrs. S. D. Dinnick, Orangeville, spent his younger days in Orange- ville, going from his home town to New York,* where he spent four years | sudying theology before receiving his j Th. G. He spent several years preaching on the Bowery, New York, j famous for its "down and outs." Later Mr. Dinnick moved back to Ontario, where he has become known as a most interesting and instruct- ive teaoher.â€" Orangeville Banner. THE LOST WAS FOUND Durham Chronicle A Bentinck farmer put on his vest the other day because the weather is cold again. As he did so he remem- bered he was wearing the same vest last spring. Last spring means a lot of hard luck to that farmer. One of the things that happened to him had to ilo with selling some of his livestock to raise necessary cash. The farmer hired a trucker, whom he accom- panied, taking the cattle to the city. Having to remain in the city over night after the sale of the stock, he and the friendly trucker took a room together. In the morning when awakening, the driver was gone, for truckmen are early risers. Feeling under his pillow for the comfortinii wad of $126, the proceeds of his sale, the farmer found that that, too, was gone. Police were not- ified and eventually the trucker was located, but not the wad of money, and nothing could be proved. Feel- ing ran high in the fanner's district. It was a shame to rob a man already havinj; such heavy going. As already stated the farmer put on his discarded vest the other day and set off for town. On the way he folt in the vest for a match, found papers in his way, and drew out his $126 from the pocket where he had sleepily placed it on retiring the night of the sale of his stock back in the spring. A litigious man was forced to leave on a long journey ' efore the conclus- ion of a suit he had brought agttftst -I neighbor. He left instructions with his counsel that the verdict should be sent him by wire. Two days later he received this wire: "Right has triumphed." At once he wired back, "Appeal im- mediately." A kindly lady I heard about, has a friend who is not very well off and w*io has been blessed with a large numiber of children. The kindly lady, on one of her visits, was so moved by the juvenile harassment to which her friend was subjected that she sent as a gift, one of those play-pens, A few weeks later she made another call. The house as usual was swarm- ing with small children. But in the midst of this confusion sat the patient mother, workir« at her sewing mach- ine The children were not disturbing her, because she and the sewing mach- ine were in the middle of the play- pen.â€" Baltimore Sun.
