Domm, Owen Sound, ad- dressing the minister and congrega- tion. A farewell party was tendered to Miss Edna McHugh, our much be- loved teacher for the past five years, and was presented with a gift of re- membrance by the people of the sec- tion. Mr. Shackleton, principal, made the presentation in some fine laudatory remarks of her worth. Mr. Shackleton has also resigned and has secured a school at Arthur with high- er salary. Our trustees were rather derelict in this respect in letting' him g:o as he was a tower of strength in the village in leading, in all good work. The scholars will miss him in the popular excursions he gave them from time to time to different localities.
