Mr. and Mrs. Archie McKechnie and two children of Priceville visited on Sunday with Mrs. McKechnie's sister, Mrs. David Genos. Mrs. J. L. Wood of Mimico spent a few days with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Will Magee. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Latimer and children of Port Stanley, also Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Latimer of Alli- ston visited on Saturday with the Latimer and Proctor families. Wes- ley is a former Eugenia boy who has been very successful in his pro- fession as a school teacher. This year Wesley had 38 pupils try the Entrance examination and all passed. Wes now holds a first class certif- icate which he secured while teaching. We offer him our congratulations. Mr. and Mrs. H. Thorns of New- castle spent the week end with the Park ifmlv. Fogg who has spent the past couple of months visiting her brothers, Messrs. In the experi- ment one-half of each plot received complete fertilizer, while the other half was left unfertilized. In the un- fertilized portions the sow thistle were always larger and more vigor- ous than thosa in the fertilized sec- tions. But this disregard of every rule of common eourtesy is merely incidental. The real offense of the Road Hog is that he forces others to risk life and limb. He obstructs the vision of those drivers behind him and makes them either drive at his speed or risk a head-on collision in passing him. Probably no form of law-breaking on the highways causes directly or indirectly so varied a list of accidents as does middle-of-the-ro^.d driving. Every man -who drives a car helps to pay for the highways. Every motorist is entitled to use them safely. Why deprive any man of his right? Don't be a Road Hog.
