CARD OF THANKS To the Electors of South Grey: Ladies and Gentlemen, In view of| the fact that the Ferguson Govern- ment made tremendous gains in the election and that evry effort was put forward to defeat your candidate, we can appropriately term our victory a magnificent one. Throughout the campaign I have had the ever able I support of Miss Macphail and other: speakers, but even this would not have* won the day except as was the case! in co-operation with OUT loyal work-j ers throughout the riding. Through the columns of the press I publicly thank my workers and supporters and even in the face of stupendous odds I will do everything possible to be worthy of the mandate renewed on October 30th. Yours very sincerely, F. R. OLIVER. Priceville, Nov. 2, 1929. CARD OF THANKS To the Electors of South Grey: Ladies and Gentlemen, I wish to thank all those who worked so earn- estly in my behalf during the elec- tion campaign. I cannot express in words the grat itude I feel towards those who took such an active part in any capacity whatsoever, as well as voting to put South Grey in the government ranks. The defeat is regretted as much on behalf of my supporters as on my own account, and I hope to always cherish and remember the many good friends I met during the political con- test. It is a great satisfaction to know that the electors of Ontario were of the same opinion as ourselves. Again thanking every supporter, I remain, Yours faithfully, J. N. PERDUE.
