Bov/es, Grey County's' weather prophet, has given out his forcasts for 1927. In referring to, his predictions fDr 1926, Mr. Bowes '.stated that April. May and June were \ not as warm as he ejijiected and July was milder than he forcasted. Aug-i ust, September and October were 90 per cent, correct, and November was' 95 per cent, correct. December was! not as mild a-3 he predicted. "How- 1 ever, I think my predictions deserve' some co/isideration by the people of this district," said Mr. Bowea. He added that he was correct for the last five months of ^926. Following are Mr, Bowes' predic- tions for 1927: January â€" Quite mild and calm until the last week, then strong winds with snow and quite cold. February â€" Very mild and calm. Coldest part of month about the 16th. March â€" First, very strong winds with winds and snow, stormy and very cold. Thia storm will last about a week. Then very mild. About the 13th, very cold winds with rain and snow. This cold spell will last until about the 20th, then very mild. Aprilâ€" Very calm, warm and dry. May â€" Very calm, warm and dry until the 19th, then strong winds with rain, frost and probably snow. After the 26th, the weather will continue very persistent with frost, strong winds and snow. Juneâ€" 'Decidedly warm and dry and quite calm. July â€" About an average temper- ature and quite dry until the 18th. Then strong winds and rain. The balance will be mild and dry. August â€" First half of month cold and dry. Latter half, cool and wet. September â€" A probable record breaker for wind, rain and frost and strong persistent winds. Especially about the 2nd, 10th, 22nd and 25th. October â€" First 20 days decidedly mild. Then a storm of wind and rain and probably frost. Last portion of month unsettled. November â€" First nine days quite mild. After the 10th, strong cold winds, frost and a quite probable snow storm. December â€" First week a very pronounced storm of winds, rain and snow and low temperature. Last three weeks very mild and dry. January, 1928 â€" First week strong wiq'ds, rain and snow.
