Eight Good Horsos In Flesherton This Year The first races on the 24th of May are- drawinjj closer and tlie horses in flesherton ha^e been out training on the tacetrack for some days now and are all looking in Ane shape. The local horsemen have rented the agri- cultural grounds and will have the track in first class shape this year. There are eight good horses at the track the bunch being headed with W. W. Trimble's Prairie Thunder which won five firsts, four saconds, 1 third and 1 fourth last year. Tom Fisher has two horses Forward Movement and Peter Abbe, the latter owned by Robt. Fisher, white Pom Pom belonging to Trimblt is' also being trained. Everett Henry has had his Delia H., pacer, training for a couple of weeks and is going fast. oe MacGregor, pacer, owned by Ram- age of Strathavon, is undjr the care of ordon Ager, who is also handliniC Trimble's horses. C. Akins has his Eva Canuck up at the track every evening while Mark Wilson is doing some work with hia little' mare Nellie Burtwood. Flesharton never had so many good race horses in town as are here now and should be on the racing map niore than ever this year.
