PROTON STATION NO GAIN BY ENGAGING IN SHARP PRACTICES Sawyer Gumming in the Owen Sound Sun-Times writes on a world failing. , , "Donations to this or that good cause will not make up for any chic- anery in which you may be engaged. Making a large donation to a church one day and engaging in some "sharp practice" the next day by which you literally cheat some man in the guise of good business, does you no moral or spiritual good. The man who, for the sake of praise, good-will and fa- vors of some certain nmn or organiza- tion, is liberal in his financial support of its undertakings with the mental reservation that he will make more in the end that it costs him is a trickster â€" a cheat. ,You are entitled to a legitimate profit; it is dishonest to take more. You cannot fool the All- Wise-One. for the All- Wise Judge sees your heart. In the final recgoning you wll get all you deserve. If oth- ers knew you as you know yourself, what would be your standing in the community, is a question you would do well to ponder. It is not too late to mend your ways. None is sure of tomorrow, so start to-day to be plain and honest. >.â- â€¢' Reduced Prices FOR Horseshoeing No. allocs. Is and ?9. 43c.: 3s and 4s, 50c.; Ss, Ss and up. 60c.
