Proceeds in aid of Memorial Fund. Rod and Gun recently made the statement that no license was required to hunt foxes or wolves. Thi? is not correct. D. McDonald, Deputy Minister of Game and Fisheries, now says a five dollar license is required to hunt foxes. One can, however, hunt them on his own property without a license. Bellame passed away at her homo here ou Thursday mornirg ot last week a; the age of 0^ yturs. She had been in failing health for some lime. The deceased lady was a daughter of the 'ata John Jates, who, years ago, ran the first tannery in this part of the coi'ntry, and also conducted quite an •xteusive boot snd shoe manufacturing business in the early days of Flesherton- Later he conducted a grocery business between this village and the statiou. Mrs. Bellamy was only three years of age when she came to Flesherton with her parents. She leaves behind, besides her sorrowing husband, seven daughters and one son to mouru the loss of a loving mother, a model housekeeper and a coa-"istent member of the Metho- di.ft church. The children are : Mrs. Dinsinore, Mrs. Mellafont and Mrs. Miller, all living in the West * Mrs. Roy Thistlethwaite, Mrs. George Best and Mrs Harry Shaw, all of Artemesia ; one son, Edgar, at Saskatoon, and Miss Rita •t htinie. The funeral on Friday wah laraoly attended. The floral offerings were very beautiful and included i sheaf from the Women's Institute, of which she was long a member, also a handsome wreatti from F.
