Chrysanthemum Wedding At one o'clock mon i n Wednesday, Nov. 12tn, the ho.oe of Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Karstedt was the scene cf a happy event when their eldest dauehtsr, E.la Mabel, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony by Rev. C .\ . Belry, pastor of the Methodist church, to George Alexander McTavish. The bride, who was given away by her father, was beautifully gowned in white georgette and silk crepe, with silver trimmings, and carried a luavniticent bouquet of white biby chrysanthemums and fern, with droopiaK ribbons to which 'mums were attached. Little .Misa Audrey McTavish, of Oshawa, acted as flower girl and Miss Elda Karstedt, of Flesherton, flayed the wedding march. During the signing of the register Misa Allie Williams, of Toronto, sang very sweetly •'Oh: Promise Me." The drawing room was decorated with f-^ms, 'mumt and smilax, and the dining room in pink cbrvsantbemams, cream tuUe and smilax. The groom's gift to the briie was a handsome ch<que, and the flower girl, pianist and soloist aiao received much appreciated favors. Among the other numerous gifts was a handsome cheque from the bride's parents. The happy young couple motored to Toronto and left next day for Cleveland. On their return they will reside in Flesherton where The Advance, along with a host of friends, tender the young coup'e a hearty welcome.
