The Late Mr. Sloan The remains of the late Mr. James E. Sloan, of Eugenia - whose death we noticed briefly last week - were interred in the Flesherton cemetery last Friday, and were followed to the last resting place by a very large concourse of relatives and sympathizing friends. Rev. David Auld preached an affecting sermon in the Methodist church here, just before officiating in the performance of the alst rites at the grave. Deceased was only 27 years of age at the time of his death, and was a quiet, unassuming and intelligent young man, whose death is much regretted. The parents and other members of the family have the profound sympathy of all in the hour of their affliction. B.
