Although their ticket was good to return, thus far the railway has failed to bring them back. This genileman was man- ager of Douglass' drug store for a couple of years and later started what ho called a school of telegraphy, securing four or five boys as pupils at forty dollars per term. Some of these had completed their terms, but at least one had not, although his tuition fee was fully paid up. No oUier pupils being forthcoming Mr. Willdtt evidently decided to seek other pastures and so embraced the opportunity of a cheap trip to the border. There are said to be a large number of villagers who mourn his departure. An attachment has been placed on a small amount of furniture which he left behind in charge of R. J. Sproule. This will not briiig more than $25. The indebtedness, it is said, amounts to between throe and four hundred dollars, and village business men are left for over 8200, in eums running from $2 to $;i6. Willet was an affable, good uatured sort, and while here handled the Foresters funds and at one time was a member of the Methodist church board but was dismissed from the latter a year ago. It is needless to say that no fare- wells were said by the departing couple. The Very Best Remedy for Bowel 1 rouble.
