The oflSoersof the recently formed Ont- ario Vegetable Growers' Association purpose orgaanizing branches of the Association in connection with the leading oities and towns of the province. Organ- izers will be sent out during this month to towns and cities with the object of forming branch as-sociations. Thoae organizers will be members of tke Assoui- atinn, who are leading market uardinors in tho vicinity of Toronto and Hamil O", ^Tlie Asaooiation will receive a Gi>vtc 1 grant this year of $800. It purposes usmg this money to hold a large convention for veKotable growers at the time of the H'rlicultural exhibition in Toronto, next November, and also offering prizes for a Uree vegetable exhibit at this show. The constiiution of the Association provides for the formation of branch AMOciationss. The votietable growers in the vicinity of any town or city may organize a branch Association, for which the ra--mbenhip fee is $1,00. The presi- dent! of these branch Associations become direoton of the Provincial Associations and have Iheif expenses paid while attend- ing ineetings of its executive. The branch Associations are expected to pay the Provinicial Association 40 cents for each of their members, which makes all mom- bitrs of lii>4 local Association members of tho Provincial Association The Provin- oiaI Associations sends all its members •opies of the annual re|>orl of its conven- tion, a monthly magazine, which is the Otiicial oruan of the Association and ether printed matter.
