Ivison Wilson in the chair. Tiie children gave a large number of recitations, diaUigues and choni.ses, and in addition Misa Chriaiene Richardson gave two readings in her masterly way, which pleased the lar^e audience very much. Among the so'oista were the little Misses Elsie Barn- house, Mabel Boyd and Ruby Trimble. Miss Ethel Trimble also gave a choice reading, and a motion song by ten little girls was a very nice number. The choicest thing of the evening, however, was a musical tableau by ten little girls and four youna ladies (Miss Christine Richardson and the Misses Allie, Minnie and Annie Joy). This was a very pretty number indeed and elicited much ap- plause. The Advance was so fortunate .is to secure e. fine flashlight photograph of this group and we will prize it highly. Mrs. W. W. Trimble presided at the organ in a faultless manner. The pro ceeds amounted to the niagl"iifieeiit sum of IS!>4. 60. including Sunday collecti"U3. The treasurer's repoit as read by Or, Murray shows this school to be in a very healthy condition. The total receipts last year were 8181.50; expenditure §121.48, leaving a balance on hand of ?60,03, During the past year S49.20 was s|>ent in furnishina the sabbaih school room, this in addition to the usual expenditure for running the school.
