Strain, Joseph (Anniversary: 53)

GOLDEN WEDDING - On the 24th of June, 1880, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Strain, sr., of Artemesia celebrated their golden wedding. They had nine children at that time all living, equal numbers male and female, and one dead. Since the above date four grand children have been added to the number, also three great grand children while there has been three deaths, a daughter, Mrs. Frederick Armstrong and two grand children, a child, of Mr. Wm. Strain, of Flesherton and Sarah, daughter of Mr. Wm. Armstrong of this place whose premature death we noticed last week.
