Death of Joseph Hinds, Sr. On Sunday evening last, Oct. 4th, at his residence, Flesherton, at the grand old age of eighty-five years, died. Mr. Joseph Hinds, Sr. Although not enjoying his customary good health for some time past, his demise was very sudden if not altogether unexpected. He died as he lived - a true follower of Him who "went about doing good" when on this earth. Deceased was one of the oldest settlers of Artemesia. he was universally esteemed and respected for his many amiable qualities. He was generous and sympathetic to a fault. His pleasant smile and cheery greeting will be sadly missed by old and young. In bearing he was every in a gentleman; his courteous and dignified manner towards all never varied - even under the most adverse circumstances. The funeral took place on Tuesday and was largely attended. The remains were interred in the Flesherton cemetery. The fuenral sermon will be preached in the Methodist Church here next Sunday. B.
