Mr. John McPhail who died in Glenelg last week, was one of the oldest residents of the Township, and a native of Mull, Argyllshire, Scotland, where he was born upwards of a hundred years ago. A few years since the deceased was almost totally blind, but of late he received his second sight and was able to travel for several miles on foot, up to within a few weeks of his death. Mrs. Tho. Saunders and Neil and Alex. McPhail of this town are grandchildren of the deceased.
