A number of the most wealthy and energetic business men of Collingwood have a scheme on foot for a new railway from that town through Sunnidale townhip then crossing at Angus will run through Ontario County, and will [proceed] direct to the most convenient harbor in the Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario near Trenton, thus giving Collingwood a direct and easy road to the [sea-board.] Substantial financial backing is [promised] from Kingston and Montreal.
