_Fire._ On Sunday morning at 2 o'clock our citizens were aroused by the alarm of fire. Three small wooden houses were burnt, owned by Wm. Brown, Esq., one occupied by Peter Munshaw, one by Bill Scott and the third vacant. Cause of the fire unknown. The contents were saved. There is, we understand, a small insurance. -- A fire on Sunday last destroyed the barn and stable of Richard Burk near Maxwell. -- On Monday might about 12 o'clock the carriage works of R. McNally, Chatsworth, were destroyed by fire. The fire is supposed to have originated from a stove used for heating glue. Loss mostly covered by insurance.
