CPR Train Station - Peninsula (~1938)
- Media Type
- Item Type
- A view of Peninsula station, and tracks. Peninsula was once a popular location for painters and fishermen. Once booming, the CPR Peninsula was later reduced to the status of a siding. The ruins of the old hotel near the shore and another near the station survived for some years, but the old townsite along the waterfront was gradually grown over with young birch.
