A view of a rail tie sawmill at Peninsula Harbour in Marathon, Ontario. A company from Nipigon would arrive by train with their horses in time for the spring rafting season. They would set up their sawmill operations on the shore of Peninsula Harbour, north of the wood yard operations for the paper mill.
