- Photograph of Port Arthur's CN iron ore dock and the S.S. Marquette of Cleveland. The ore dock was not yet completed but the first load of iron ore from Steep Rock was about to be loaded into the holds of the Marquette. Newspaper accounts from July 21st 1945 lead us to believe that the year inked onto the lower left of this photograph is incorrect. Photo number 172 in this series is listed as 1945.
