- The 96th Lake Superior Regiment stand on guard. Showing faintly in the background are railway tracks, sheds, freight cars, and an elevator. The local regiment was called upon to guard the dock of the Northern Coal and Ore Company. It was a bitter dispute, and on July 29th, workers and the regiment exchanged gunfire.
