- The gigantic 'City of Detroit III', tied up at the dock of the Canadian Northern Railway, Port Arthur. Visitors from the Detroit Board of Commerce, shown near the ship and in the foreground, were carrying yellow and black umbrellas. Members of the Detroit Board of Commerce were met by a reception committee at the dock and then proceeded to the Prince Arthur Hotel for a formal meeting with the mayors of Fort William and Port Arthur. Newspapers claimed that there were 600 multi-millionaires, manufacturers and business men of Detroit, as well as governors of States, orators and politicians on board the City of Detroit III on this visit.
