Madsen Red Lake Gold Mines near Red Lake, Ontario. Photo of original headframe and stamp mill. Madsen Red Lake Gold Mines became the fifth producing gold mine in Red Lake, in 1938, and consisted of 31 claims. From 1938 to 1972 they produced $81,698,783 and paid $10,444,891 in dividends to its shareholders in 34 years.
