What year did the development of the Geco Mine start? I was just a young nipper in the early 50's and the first Post Office was in my grandparents home at 42 Adjala. My grandmother Claudia Gagnon was the Postmistress, and her husband was Arthur a skilled Carpenter. I well remember the groceries were brought in by Transport Trailer where my grandmother would climb up some steps into the back of the trailer to pick her groceries.
