View of Lac Seul dam, heading upstream on the English River.The Ear Falls Generating Station is located on the English River at the discharge of Lac Seul. The English River is a tributary of the Winnipeg River and is part of the Lake Winnipeg drainage basin. The primary storage reservoir is Lac Seul. The Lac Seul is constructed on bedrock outcrop which originally created the waterfalls known as Ear Falls.
