Hall of fame receives grant ' The Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame has received a grant of $8,182 from the Ministry of Culture and Communications. The grant was received under the Resource and Mate- rial/Equipment category, and will be used to assist the hall of fame with the purchase of Administrative and Program- ming equipment. In awarding the grant, cul- ture Minister Karen Haslam said she was pleased that her Ministry was able to assist the Hall of Fame in making this project possible. She viewed it as a fine example of the inven- tive ways in which groups all across the province are seek- ing to enrich community life. Crime Stoppers crime of the month C.P. Police reported that on Jan. 21, 1991, a snowmobile sleigh was noted missing from the east side of the C.P. Rail Station in Schreiber. Esko Saranpaa, our auto mechanics department head, will be absent this semester, on his teacher-funded leave plan.
