FURLONGER, MAYBELLE On September 19, 1990 at McCausland Hospital at age 84. Mrs Furlonger was pre- deceased by husband Bill in 1973. Survived by daughter Maybelle Weberg of Terrace Bay, and sons Laurie of Nepean, and D'Arcy of Schreiber, seven grandchildren, one great grand daughter. Mrs. Furlonger resided at Birchwood Terrace since 1988, was a member of the Chimo Club in Schreiber and the ACW. Born and raised in Schreiber, Gino served his family, community and country in the following organizations: Royal Canadian Air Force, Royal Canadian Legion Br. 109, Air Cadets, Schreiber Town Council, Fire Department, Hydro commission; Kinsmen. Club, Lions Club, Curling Club, Chimo Club, Knights of Columbus and Municipal Electrical Association. He was appointed a Justice of the Peace for the District of Thunder Bay, in July of 1966 and served until his death. Gino was a sports enthusiast and took part in boxing, soft- ball, golf, hockey, snowmobil- ing and curling until his health faltered. He then enjoyed viewing sports and playing bridge. He is survived by his wife Frances of Schreiber, son Paul and wife Wanda of North Bay, son Jason attending school in North Bay, ,brother Jack and wife Rita of Thunder Bay, mother-in-law Mrs. ie Cataford, sister-in law Penny of Schreiber and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Antonio and Clara, brothers Hugo and Joseph. Attending from out of town were Maurice Cataford of Boston, Roger, Hazel, Dean Ivan and Cathy Cataford and Diane and Allan Bazilewich of Winnipeg, Jack Irvine of Calgary and many friends and associates from Thunder Bay and surrounding area.
