It opened last month in Mountainview Plaza, along Highway 17. Walking into Schreiber Video, you will be greeted by, manager, Lynne Weber's smiling face. She is also training an assistant man- ager, Lisa Ray, who'll help run the store, devoted to making peo- ple's spare time entertaining. Lynne, whose been living in Schreiber for about 3 years, knew that her new endeavor was much needed. Her store is entirely devoted to entertainment. At the moment there are about 1,000 videos that the public can rent. Lynne hopes there will be 1,500 by winter. The stock of movies will always rotate and about 100 movies will be swapped each month. Three to four hundred movies will be swapped twice a year (spring and fall) to provide an even greater selection. The store deals with the third largest tape buyer in Ontario. Aside from movies, the store also sells stereo equipment, tele- visions, and ghetto blasters. You can listen to great tunes from one of the stereos that are being sold while picking out movies. A video camera can be rented for weddings, birthdays and holi- days. It can be reserved if you have any special occasions in the future. A tripod is also available. For the people that have to be munching while watching a movie; chips, popcorn, and soda _are sold. You even get a free bag of popcorn when you rent a movie. In the future, Lynne hopes to offer VCR cleaning. She soon will have access to a person who dubs 8mm film onto VHS tapes. When asked how she liked owning her own business Lynne Weber replied,"I work a lot of hours, but it's worth every minute of it." Agenda will include: *President's Annual.
