This two day program will teach the participant the art of sailing. It is open to 7 to 13 year old participants. Registration will be limited to 25 persons. The Northwest Senior Games are open to anyone 55 years of age and over. The purpose of the games is to promote friendly competition, fellowship, and social interaction. The events being offered this year are Carpet Bowling, a Softball Throw, Swimming, Five- Pin Bowling, Contract Bridge, Cribbage, Darts, Horseshoes, Shirley's Industrial Cleaning Service Spring Cleaning Apartments, houses, businesses Also garden roto tiller for Rent 825-9013 SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES With the TOWNSHIP OF TERRACE BAY "RECREATION DEPARTMENT" Walking, Golf (18 holes),-Euchre, and Tennis. There are also three social events; Opening Ceremonies and Social, a Dinner and Dance, and Awards and Closing Ceremonies. The Northwest Senior Games are associated with the Ontario Senior Games. The regional area is District 1, which includes west to Upsala, east to Marathon, and northeast to Longlac, including Nakina. Registration for the Northwest Senior Games will take place May 29 to June 2, 1989. Anyone interested can register at either Herb Carroll Centre 55 Plus, 1100 Lincoln St. or Port Arthur Centre 55 Plus, 230 Park Ave. (Keskus, lower level), during this period. Registration fees are $2 per event or three events for $5. Golfers will pay $5 whether they register for 1, 2, or 3 events. Social events are at an addi- tional cost. Tickets must be pur- chased in advance during the reg- istration period. Registration forms and infor- mation are available now at either centre.
