We need more regis- tration in order to make the class a reality. Times for the program is Monday and Wednesday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Fitness for Fun Another session of the Fitness for Fun program will be com- mencing mon November 7. This program is a non impact moder- ately paced exercise program which takes place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Flex & Tone There is room for more regis- tration in the afternoon Flex and Tone Fitness class. This program is designed for those persons interested in learning the proper techniques of working with weights. All those who have submitted their names will be con- tacted as to the time, place and night of the event. Those who are interested, but have not registered can still do so by calling the recre- ation office. North Shore Minor Hockey North Shore Minor Hockey's first weekend of local hockey will be held in Schreiber on Sunday, Nov. 6 when the Novice, Atom, and Peewee teams will be hosting the teams from Marathon. Six games in total will be played, so come out and cheer on the NHL stars of tomorrow. The Atom and Peewee teams will be playing in Terrace Bay on Saturday, Nov. 5. Aerobics The second session of Aerobics will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 8 under the instruction of Louise Boileau. Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7.00 to 8.00 in the community hall. Please note that there is limited registration, so register early to avoid disappointment. In the twilight of this year's ladies golf club Eighteen ladies attended our Semi-Annual Meeting and Wind- up held at Birchwood on Oct. 6. After a superb supper by 'Chef leon', President Cathi Stachiw opened the meeting. Ann Hara's Secretary's report and Bev Turpin's Treasurer's report were presented and adopted. Tournament Connie Bryson, reported another successful. year with special thanks to all our new golfers who brought new enthusiasm to our Twilights. We agreed to take steps to have all future C.L.G.A. membership fees incorporated into the regular club membership fees. A golf clinic for the ladies is to be held in early spring of 1989. Carol Hansen, handicap chair- person, gave a brief report. We all agreed that the extended handi- caps for twilight purposes be con- tinued next year. Marg Phillips, Memberships and Fundraising, reported 20 paid- up C.L.G.A. members this year and that we raised $702.05 toward the new clubhouse. Cathi thanked Leslie Samp for Chairperson,. the news articles, and Althea Graham reported that all went well with the Ringerboard. We are scheduled to host the 1989 Ladies' Open. However, we will have to see how plans for the new Clubhouse are in the spring before proceeding with arrange- ments for this tournament. Cathi tahnked all for their co- operation during her two years as President, and turned the meeting over to Althea who chaired our nominations.
