Bay Recreation Committee would like to know if any of the local organizations would be interested in sponsoring a circus in Terrace Bay. This is a three-ring circus with lions, tigers, elephants, a trapeze wire act, clowns, juggler and also a bear act and the kangaroo box- ing act. If you are interested in this project, please contact Dean Main at the recreation office for more information. Introduction to interior design "We now have the date for this program which will be presented by Sheila Harvey, Interior Design Consultant from Private Space in Thunder Bay; April 9, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We are still taking names and subjects covered will range from wallcoverings, paint finishes, window treatments and floor plans. Babysitting We will be presenting another session of the babysitting pro- gram to take place after the school break in March. Nothing is confirmed but we are taking names; call the office. Prospector's course The Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, in con- junction with the Terrace Bay Recreation Department, will be presenting a Prospectors Program to be scheduled for mid-April. Decorative Tole Painting- The art of tole painting can be used in a wide variety of ways to decorate your home. _ You will learn how to decorate with fabric, paper, tin, etc. This program will be presented in late spring depending upon sufficient registration. Canada Day meeting The next meeting of the Canada Day Committee will be held on Tuesday, March 8, in the boardroom of the rec centre. Schreiber recreation Department News Aerobics The next session of after- noon aerobics will begin Monday, February 22nd and will run to April 6th. Classes will be held Monday and Wednesdays from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the high school gym and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8:30-9:30 p.m.. Teen Aerobics The rec department is now offering a teen aerobics pro- gram on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the high school gym. Monday classes will be held from 6:30- 7:30 p.m. and Wednesdays classes will be held from 7-8 p.m. Adult Mixed Volleyball Mixed volleyball will be ~ held Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. in the high school gym. The first session will commence on Thursday, March 3rd. To register call 824-2317. Badminton The Schreiber Badminton Club meets at the high school gym every Monday from 7:30- 9:30 p.m. If you are interested in joining the club contact Pavlo or Roseann Pellegrino at 824-2823.
