President Margie Smith chaired the meeting. Gwen Hadley gave the devotions. Marlene Doig, secretary read the minutes of the February meeting; carried. 'Gwen then gave her Treasurers' report, and this was carried also. Myrtle Gordon, Card Secretary, mentioned the numerous cards sent, since the last meeting in February. Correspondence was read, and final plans for the World Day of Prayer. were made. This year it was held in St. John's Anglican Church, on Friday, March 7. The Co-op Supper for Winter Carnival was discussed, and workers will be members Sylvia Aylwazrd, Beth MacAdam, Margie Smith and Holly Smith. The Christmas Bazaar was discussed and this year it will be held in the Legion Hall on November 15, '1986. Members are to begin crafts for this event. The Church lower hall is to be cleaned for Easter. The meeting then closed, and members enjoyed lunch. The Co-Op Supper hosted by St. Andrews United and Holy Angels Catholic and St. Johns Anglican Womens' groups was a huge success. It was held Wednesday, March 12, in the Schreiber Recreation Hall. Thank you to all for the food donations. It all added to our great Schreiber Winter Carnival. The ladies work- ing the supper were Helen Hogan, Janet Moorey, Theresa Stortini, Sandra Larivee, Hazel Bailey, Flora Bryson, Anne Marie Legrand, Beth MacAdam, Holly and Margie Smith, and Sylvia Aylward. The Chimo Bingo was won by Mary Inatko, Mary Valentino, and Marg Har- ris. Another one will start for April. Congratulations to Mr. Pat Bolan on his retirement from the CPR. Open House and Public Meeting To Consider A Draft Official Plan A draft Official Plan has been prepared by the Township of Schreiber and an Open House and Public Meeting will be held by Council to give residents the opportunity to review and ask questions about this The Open House and Public Meeting will both be held on Wednesday, April 2, 1986 at the Recreation Centre in Schreiber. The Open House will take place between 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m. and will be an opportunity for residents to review the draft Of- ficial Plan and talk to the Planner on an informal one-to-one basis. The Public Meeting will occur at 8:30 p.m. and will be a formal presenta- tion and explanation of the draft Official Plan. Questions will be answered during the Public Meeting, as well.
