Any persons interested in participating or entering a team are urged to attend this important meeting. There will be an executive formed at this meeting. Plan to attend. Table Tournament All you dedicated Ping Pong Players are invited to take part in a Table Tennis Tournament to be held on April 20th. The Tournament will be for singles and mixed doubles in both youth and adult categories. Prizes will be awarded therefore there will be a small fee charged to cover the cost of awards. Tennis Bowling Tournament The Terrace Bay Bowl- ing Association President - Chris Peterson has advised this office that there will be a Bowling Tournament called the Schreiber Food Market Ist Annual Mini Match Bowling Tourna- ment. This Tournament will be a handicap event with cash prizes. For more information on entrance fees, etc. contact Chris Peterson at 824-2411. This tournament will take place on the weekend of April 20th and 21st. Red Cross Swim Lessons (Marathon) The Terrace Bay Recreation Committee in conjunction with the Marathon Recreation is of- fering Red Cross Swimm- ing Lessons. These lessons will be for those students taking instructions in Level Yellow to White of the Red Bowling -- Challenge | The "Nifty Fifties" Bowling League challeng- ed the "'Under 100 Years"' bowling league to a match in Terrace Bay. Fourteen people participated in the challenge, and a fun time was had by all. The "'Nifty Fifties'? won by 31 points. High games were: No. 1 - Rena Ross and August Rentz ~ No. 2 - Rena Ross. and Borden Ross No. 3 - Addie Beaulieu and Russ MacAdam The "Nifty Fifties" team was made up of: Borden Ross, Addie Beaulieu, Lil Carlson, Clara Gould, Bob Four- nier, and Russ MacAdam. The "Under 100 Years" team were: Beth MacAdam, Rena Ross, August Rentz, Werner Ziegler, Pam Jones and Betha Miller. Cross Swimming Courses. Lessons will commence in Marathon on April 20th and continue each Saturday till June 22nd. We must have more registration if these lessons are to take place. Wen Do Intermediate We have finally receiv- ed confirmation that the in- structor for the Wen Do In- termediate Course will be in Terrace Bay on Monday April 29th, Tuesday April 30th, Wednesday May Ist and Thursday May 2nd. The Wen' Do termediate Course in Ter- race Bay will take place on these days. We need more registra- tion in order to make this course a reality. Give us a call today at 3542. Closing Date for Arena Use will be April 15th. In-_ Superior Hockey School announces its instructors for the 1985 summer school held from July 29 to August 31. There is 1-two week session plus 3-one week sessions. The two week session is August 12-24. The one week sessions are July 29 to August 3 and 'August 5-10 and are similar to the two week session in con- tent except the material is accelerated. The other one week session is advanced skills session for boys of the all-star calibre. Only 20 skaters and 3 goalies are allowed per group. The professional staff, headed by Dave Siciliano is Lots of action at the Terrace Bay No-Body-Contact Championship playoffs between the No-Stars and Canuks.
