Dave Speer: To be able to purchase Sibley ski tour The recent snowfalls have provided cross- country skiers with some excellent skiing conditions. On behalf of the Sibley Ski Tour, I would like to re- quest that you remirid your listeners or readers of the 1985 Tour, which is to be held on Saturday March 2, 1985. This is an event held to benefit all levels of skiers. : - The first entry deadline is approaching on January 15. Entry fees (received up to January 15) for the 40 and 50 km events are $17.00 for competitors 17 years and older and $8.50 for competitors under 17 years of age. After January 15, entry fees for those 17 years and older will be $20.00. Entrants under 17 years of age must pay a $10.00 entry fee. Skiers in- tending to ski in the 20 km event are subject to one set entry fee of $15.00 or $7.50, depending upon their age. There will be no increase in the entry fee for 20 km skiers after January 15. Entries are now arriving quite steadily. All those wishing to enter should do so as soon as possible, in order to insure that their entry is accepted. Once the entry limit of 800 com- petitors is reached, no fur- ther entries .can_ be accepted.
