Time once more for this gal to put pen to paper and see what I come up with. Time flies. It seems just yesterday I sent in my weekly contribution and here it is time once more. It seems our trees are really getting bare, so I guess winter is on its way. Every day some- one here at the home predicts "snow". May- be they are anxious to make snow balls! One gentleman said we should make two snow men but have one, a man and one, a woman. I. guess he thinks we should give equal time to the ladies. The staff seems to be really caught up in the spirit of the different events, from residents 'birthday party to our Open House and Octo- berfest. Speaking for myself, I am anxious for all these 'happy times'"'. I guess that's what keeps this old girl going. If you keep busy when you reach your '*golden years", I feel sure you won't dread so called "old age" and you can grow old grace- fully. . I had to write this be- age getting all upset about growing old. It's just a state of mind. Remember "a man is as old as he feels and a woman is as young as she looks"...What am I saying? I guess there are lots of hard miles on this ole gal but I am still "young at heart'. I trust you all had a nice Thanksgiving Day, continued on page 6: cause I see so many people in their middle GREYHOUNDS : GOING . . . across Canada! TWIN SPOT RESTAURANT BIRCH MOTORS LTD.
