Coach Duguay is very pleased with the select- ion of six of the Schrei- ber North Star players. for the All-Star team representing the Thun- der Bay Junior League in the Ontario All-Star qualifying camp to be held in Kitchener De- cember 26th-29th. Play- ers Mark Campbell, Brent Mills, Brian Hiller, Jeff Fortier, George Hermes and Larry Ross will fly down for the three games against seven other all- Star teams, with the winner representing On- tario. Scouts from all the Jr. "A" teams in Cana- da will be on hand, so the opportunity for our _local, players is a good one. In order to qualify as an All-Star for the coming competitions, players took part in the All-Star Thunder Bay Jr. League Camp in mid November. Thirty-five players from Keewatin, Thunder Bay and Schreiber competed, with nineteen, including the six North Stars, se- lected to go on to the games in Kitchener. The team will play this week- end in a double header exhibition series against the Thunder Bay Trophy Kings in Thunder Bay at the Gardens. In the December 12th North Stars' game with the Thunder Bay Trophy Kings, the score after the first period was 3-1 for the Kings, after two it was 6-2 and the final was 9-2. Shots on net for the North Stars were 22, for the Kings 58. Mark Campbell scored one goal and one assist and Ron Speziale connected for one goal.
