An- other four-week program will be starting again on Feb. 26 at the Public School Gym. Grades 3 & 4 will have soccer, Grades 5 & 6 will have floor hockey and Grades 7 & 8 are having basket -ball. A schedule will be distributed to the participants some -time this week. If anyone is willing to referee any of these activities, pleases phone the recreation office. Last week Team B and Team A from the Gr. 3 & 4 division won their games, Team A and Team C from the Grade 5 & 6 division won and Team B (boys) and Team A (boys) from the Gr. 7 & 8 took victories. NORTH SUPERIOR SKI CHALLENGE: Have you and/or your family registered for the ski challenge. 1% all starts 10 a.m. Sat. Schreiber Parks and Recreation will sponsor many races for the elementary school students Friday at 1:30 p.m. on the High School grounds.. Some of the races are toboggan pull, three legged snowshoe race, snowball-on-a=spoon race, etc., then pre= pare yourselves for the earth ball game. Throughout the Funfest weekend the Kinsmen will be stalking those who are violating Funfest regulations and bringing them to the Kinsmen Kangaroo Kourt at 5 p.m. on Saturday the 10th in the High School Gym. Saturday will also be a day of Family participation. The more you take part in the more points you will gather if you place first, second, third. Activities will be kettle boiling, log=-piling, variety of races, etc. and possibly earth ball game, although points will not be given for the latter. If you are aged 10 - 13 years the Royal Canadian Legion will be hosting several one day tournaments in pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, please contact Curtis Martin or the Sports Comm= ittee for further details at this time. SCHREIBER CURLING CLUB OBTAINS $15,311.34 WINTARIO GRANT: Schreiber Curling Club members should be very proud these days, they just received notice that a $15,311.34 Wintario Grant will be coming their way within the next few days.
