JANUARY 24, 1979 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 3 AUXILIARY TO THE MCCAUSLAND HOSPITAL The January meeting of the Hospital Auxiliary was held at St. Martin School January 16th. We were pleased to hear that $122. had been raised through the Raggedy-Ann raffle at Christmas. VALENTINE'S DAY RAFFLE = A Valentine's Day raffle of a lovely afghan and cushion will be held at the C.W.L.'s Valentine Tea and Bake Sale February 10th. The C.W.L. will be contributing their proceeds to the new hospital and we are pleased to be able to make our raffle draw on this occasion. The afghan will be displayed in the Credit Union Office window and tickets are available from Auxiliary members. MEMBERSHIP DRIVE - The selling of Auxiliary Memberships is almost completed in Terrace Bay and Schreiber. President Sheelagh Hamilton, hopes that all volunteers will have their returns in promptly so that a complete report can be given at next month's meeting. Perhaps YOU were out when the volunteer called at your door. If so, please contact any Auxiliary mem=- ber in Terrace Bay or Schreiber so that you may help the hos- pital in this way ($2.00 membership fee). HOSPITAL SPRING BALL = The Annual Hospital Spring Ball will be held this May 12th. Various committees were formed at our meeting and new ideas discussed. The Spring Dance is shaping up beautifully - more on this later. VOLUNTEER SERVICES = Corrie Haas is completing an up-to-date list of volunteers. We thank those people who have already given their time to assist patients and visitors at the hospital Please call Corrie if you wish to help.
