PAGE 16 TERRACE BAY NEWS OCTOBER 4, 197 McGRATH-0PAS VOWS EXCHANGED Baskets of green and white Mums decorated the alter of the Terrace Bay Community Crurch as Debora Opas and Morgan McGrath were united in a Double Ring Ceremony by Rev. B. Bigelow on Saturday, "August 26th, 1978. . The Bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Opas of Terrace Bay. The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose McGrath, Schreiber ine sride's gown was a beautiful A-line chiffon over satin, with a flowing set in train, edged by a flounce of tiny baby pleats. The scalloped neckline and full sleeves were edged with chantilly lace and sprinkled with mother of pearl. Her cathedral veil matched her wedding attire. She carried a bouquet of orchids and trailing ivy. Maid of Honour was Linda Dejonghe of Sioux Lookout. Bridesmaids were Carol Bouchard and Donna Dakin of Terrace Bay. All were gowned alike in long mint green dresses. They carried matching decorated parasols and their flowers were single car- nations on a wrist corsage and in their hair. Flower girls were Carol Rippengal (cousin of the bride) and Marlene Jarosz both of Schreiber. They wore idential long green dresses, floppy brimmed hats and carried baskets of mint green and white carnations. Best man was Rick Spadoni of Schreiber. Groomsmen were Doug Glad and lan Fummerton also of Schreiber. Ring Bearer was Master Trevor Mikus of Terrace Bay. He carried a white heart shaped pillow, edged with lace and ribbon to the alter, for the occasion. Ushers were Gordon Opas (Bride's brother), and John McGrath (Groom's brother) both of Terrace Bay. Soloist for the occasion was Mr. Mike Kelley of Whitney, Ontario, cousin of the Groom. A supper and dance was held in the Moose Hall, Terrace Bay where the Bride's mother received wearing a long pink chiffon over polyester gown also sprinkled with mother of continued page 17 ceuee.
