Bring Sympathy is extended to Mrs. Yvonne Vienneau who has received word that her sister, Mrs. Bertha Boudreau of Fitchburg, Mass. passed away in hospital. : ~TERRACE BAY rp DE DEPARTMENT 18 to 24 September 78: During the period of September 18 to 24, the Terrace Bay Police Force was called upon to investigate twenty-four occurrences. On September 18th, police were called to the rear of the apartment block on Kenogami Road as two men were observed stealing gasoline from a car parked in the lot. Upon arrival of the police, these two persons fled on foot into the bush. Near the scene a stolen 1975 Pontiac was recovered and an intensive search for the fugitives was conducted. Further in- vestigation revealed that a camper trailer had been entered and a quantity of camping supplies had been stolen. Three persons were later arrested and held in custody. Normand Locas, Jean Claude Emonds and Michel Savard, all from Laval Quebec were further charged by the police force on the follow -ing, possession of stolen auto; 12 counts of possession of stolen property; three counts of theft; 2 counts of possession of a prohibited weapon and one. charge of possession of a narcotic. All three persons were remanded to the District Jail in Thunder Bay to await further charges of theft from Laval Quebec and Owen Sound, Ontario. Continued page 6 ....
