Wardrop & Associates Ltd. on behalf of the Township of Terrace Bay up until 2:00 p.m., E.D.S.T. on : WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 16, 1978 and will be opened publicly shortly thereafter. The work generally consists of the supply of all necessary labour, material and equipment for runway lig ting, grubbing, grading, compacting, draining and placing of granular 'A' material necessary tor the construction of a 4,000 foot runway, terminal area and access road approximately 3 miles north of Terrace Bay on Highway 17. Plans and Specifications are available at the office of W. L. Wardrop & Associates Ltd., 595 Squier Street, Thunder Bay, Ontario and 300 - 77 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 3H1. A deposit of $50.00, payable to the Township of Terrace Bay is required for each set of Contract Documents which will be refunded when such documents are returned in good condition within 20 calendar days of the closing date, otherwise the deposit will be forfeited. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the tender price will be required from the successful tenderer. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the tender price or a certified cheque, payable to the Township in the amount of 5% of the tender price must be included with the tender submission. ! No Contract will be awarded until all Federal, Provincial and Municipal Approvals have been received. The lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted. W. L. WARDROP & ASSOCIATES LTD.
