JUNE 7, 1978 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 9 RECREATION REPORT: Continued... RECREATION DI SCS: The 1978-79 Recreation discs are at the Recreation Office and may be picked up during office hours. SKATE BOARDING IN ARENA: We have received many enquiries about the possibility of Skate Boarding in the arena. We are now formulating a pro- gramme for young skate board enthusiasts and will report further on this in next weeks News. ROLLER SKATING: As at this date, the roller skates have not as yet been received but are expected daily. Just as soon as we have the skates, the programme will get underway and times will be announced through the Terrace Bay News and our bulletin board. BALL HOCKEY Ball hockey is being played every Tuesday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Terrace Bay arena. Anyone wishing to join in may do so by coming to the arena with running shoes and hockey sticks. This game is open to boys and men 14 years of age and up. SOCCER: Soccer is played every Wednesday at the Terrace Bay arena at 7:00 p.m. for boys and girls 7 years of age and up. For specific times, coaches will notify Soccer players individual- ly and newcomers should call the Recreation Office at 3542 if they wish to join the Soccer programme.
